[These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website bsidesmussoorie.in and all activities, events, and services organized by BSides Mussoorie ("BSides Mussoorie", "we", "us", "our"). By visiting our website, registering for the conference, or participating in any BSides Mussoorie event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or participate in any of our events or activities.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to all tickets, sponsorships, and registrations purchased for BSides Mussoorie through our official website or authorized partners. By registering or purchasing, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Eligibility
Refunds are applicable only to participants who have made full payment through official BSides Mussoorie channels. Requests must be made by the original purchaser with proof of payment and valid identification.
3. Rescheduling
In the event that BSides Mussoorie is rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions, all valid registrations will automatically be transferred to the new event dates. Refunds will not be issued in such cases.
4. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email info@bsidesmussoorie.in with your registered name, transaction ID, and payment proof. Requests will only be accepted within 10 days of purchase or before official event registration closes, whichever is earlier.
5. Processing time
Once your refund request is approved, processing may take up to 14 business days. Delays may occur due to banking procedures or third-party payment gateways.
6. Mode of refund
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used during purchase (credit card, UPI, or bank transfer). We do not issue cash or third-party refunds. Any transaction or processing fees are non-refundable.
7. Chargebacks
Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes through banks or payment gateways will be investigated. If a chargeback is found to be invalid, access to the conference or future events may be restricted until the matter is resolved.
8. Taxes & fees
All payments include applicable taxes and payment gateway fees. These charges are non-refundable. Only the base ticket or registration amount is eligible for refund, subject to approval.

10. Governing law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi. By submitting a refund request, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
